Long ago, when the Pocket Dimensions were discovered, an individual remembered only as the Groundskeeper was tasked with taming the wildlands and preparing them for settlers. They set off to do their duty, never to be seen again. None remain who remember why, but no settlers, pioneers, adventurers, or explorers ever ventured into the Pocket Dimensions, and the dimensions themselves were eventually forgotten.
